Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BabyTrack (app / package ID: com.theonehand.babytrack) is an offline baby & child tracker app.

It is developed and published by Bilal Marzouk, operating as The One Hand ("we", "us"), based in Vienna, Austria (EU). The app is listed on Google Play and the Apple App Store under the developer name "theonehand". We build tools that respect your privacy by design — your data stays on your device, not on our servers, because we don't run any.

2. What BabyTrack stores — and where

BabyTrack stores all of your data locally on your device in a private app database and local file storage. This includes:

• Baby profiles — each child's name, birth date and settings.
• Entries — feeding, sleep, nappy, pumping and other events with timestamps.
• Growth & health — weight/height records, medication, vaccinations and temperature.
• Milestones — developmental milestones you record.

None of this data is transmitted to The One Hand or any third party. BabyTrack does not operate any cloud backend, server infrastructure, or data-processing facility.

3. Data that never leaves your device

By design, the following data stays on your device at all times and is never uploaded, synced, or shared:

• All records you create in the app.
• Every photo or attachment you add.
• Your generated PDF and CSV exports.
• Your app settings and preferences.

4. App permissions — and why they exist

BabyTrack requests only the permissions it needs to do its job. Each one is used locally, on your device, and never to collect or transmit data:

• Camera & Photos / Media / Files — to attach photos (optional) and export PDF/CSV files.
• Notifications — for local feeding and medication reminders.
• Storage — to save exported files (legacy Android versions).

5. Purchases & payments

BabyTrack offers an optional subscription — BabyTrack Pro, 1 month, €4.99/month, auto-renewing until cancelled (see the Terms of Use). Purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit / App Store) on iOS and iPadOS, or Google Play Billing on Android, and validated through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription-management service. This is the only external service the app communicates with.

RevenueCat receives only what is necessary to verify your entitlement: an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase status. It does not receive your records, photos, or any other data. BabyTrack sends no personal data to RevenueCat, Apple, or Google Play beyond what the store requires to process the payment itself.

6. No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no cookies

BabyTrack contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash trackers, and no hidden telemetry. The app does not use cookies. We don't track how you use the app, and we don't build any profile of you. The same applies to this website — it sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

7. Data retention & deletion

Because all data lives on your device, you are always in full control:

• You can view, edit, and delete any record at any time from within the app.
• Deleting the app (or clearing its data through your device settings) permanently removes all BabyTrack data from the device.
• We keep no server copy of your data, so there is nothing left on our side after deletion.

8. Your rights under the GDPR

BabyTrack is GDPR-compliant by architecture, not just by policy. Since we process and transmit no personal data (there is no account and no cloud), the GDPR data-subject rights — access, rectification, erasure, and portability — are exercised directly by you through the app's built-in features. Your data is on your device, so you already hold it.

9. Children's privacy

BabyTrack is a tool intended for adults managing their business or personal records. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how BabyTrack handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Because the app is offline-first, any change would be reflected here before it affects the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
